When should you get vaccinated?
The NHS advises arranging travel vaccines six to eight weeks before departure because some courses need several doses. Typhoid can be given closer to travel if necessary, but earlier is better.

- Eat food that is cooked and served hot
- Wash hands with soap or alcohol gel before meals
- Keep raw fruit and salads peeled or avoided
