What is the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)?
EPS is an NHS system that lets your GP send prescriptions to your chosen pharmacy electronically. No paper signature is needed, so you don’t have to visit the surgery to collect a form.
Do I still need to request my repeat prescription from the GP?
Yes. Ordering stays the same (online, in person, or via the NHS App). EPS simply changes how the prescription reaches us.
Is there any cost?
No. EPS is a completely free NHS service. Prescription charges, exemptions, and pre‑payment certificates all work exactly as they do with paper prescriptions.
How quickly will my medication be ready?
Usually within a few hours of the GP signing it. We’ll text you as soon as it’s ready to collect—or call to arrange delivery if you’ve chosen that option.
Can I change my nominated pharmacy later?
Absolutely. Just tell us, tell your new pharmacy, or tell your GP—your choice will update instantly in the NHS system.
What if I need to use a different pharmacy temporarily?
Ask your GP for a one‑off paper prescription, or ask them to send that single prescription to another pharmacy electronically. Your ongoing nomination with us won’t be affected.
Do you offer home delivery?
Yes. Free of charge within the local Fulham area for patients who are housebound or shielding.
